Welcome to Seniors Helping Seniors® Scottsdale, where we have a passion for meeting the needs of seniors in a way that provides both dignity and a sense of camaraderie. Our names are Andy and Amy Lask, and we’re so excited to introduce ourselves to the senior communities in Scottsdale, Fountain Hills, and the surrounding Phoenix areas.
We have spent the past 26 years of our marriage raising our two daughters while living in Westchester County, New York, and the northern suburbs of Chicago before settling in Scottsdale.
We have a shared experience caring for our parents, and managing the medical and home care decisions during serious illnesses for our loved ones. After losing her mother to cancer while in college, Amy became acutely aware of the challenges involved in caring for a loved one while witnessing her mother’s courageous battle with cancer. Twenty years ago, she donated a kidney to her father, who suffered from kidney disease. We are thankful to say he is currently enjoying a healthy lifestyle.
Andy also understands firsthand the challenges a serious illness can have on a family and the positive impact a loving and compassionate caregiver who has shared life experiences can have on a recipient’s health and their family’s peace of mind.
Andy is a former CPA and attorney with a degree in accounting from Indiana University, and a law degree from Washington University in St. Louis. I’ve had a successful career after practicing law and accounting, owning and operating several businesses. Amy has a degree from Arizona State University in political science and has a rewarding career working for the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
We are thrilled for this new chapter of our lives. Scottsdale has welcomed us with open arms and it’s been an absolute joy becoming immersed in our community here. Whether you’ve been here a few years or your entire life, we are eager to help you and your family find comfort and companionship through Seniors Helping Seniors ®.
