If your loved one needs hands-on daily support in addition to these resources, that is exactly what Seniors Helping Seniors® South Bay provides.

Protecting Seniors from Scams

Older adults are frequently targeted by phone and mail scams. Never give personal or financial information to an unsolicited caller, and remember that legitimate agencies never ask for payment by gift card or wire transfer. If in doubt, hang up and call the organization back using a number you look up yourself. Report suspected scams to the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov.

How We Can Help

Community programs like the Older Adults Program are wonderful for social connection and occasional transportation, but many families eventually need more consistent, hands-on help at home. Seniors Helping Seniors® South Bay provides non-medical in-home care throughout Manhattan Beach, matching your loved one with a caregiver who is often a peer themselves.
