The City of Manhattan Beach Parks and Recreation Department runs a dedicated Older Adults Program, including classes, social events, and an annual “Older Adults Night on the Town.” Call the number below for a current activity calendar.

Transportation
Manhattan Beach Dial-A-Ride
A shared, curb-to-curb bus service for residents 55+ or with disabilities (all ages). Provides rides anywhere within Manhattan Beach seven days a week, plus trips to medical facilities in Torrance, Redondo Beach, and Hermosa Beach on weekdays.

Riders with a short-term disability are also eligible with a physician’s letter. All buses are wheelchair-lift equipped.

Never give personal or financial information to an unsolicited caller, and remember that legitimate agencies never ask for payment by gift card or wire transfer.
