We primarily work in Bethesda, Potomac, and the surrounding areas within Montgomery County. We can also provide home care in Prince George’s County and Washington DC, but service offerings in these areas may be limited.

Usually. Our goal is always to send the same caregiver so as to provide consistency and facilitate relationship building. However, sometimes this is not possible due to scheduling conflicts or a large care schedule. In such instances we will work to create a care schedule with as few caregivers as possible, and ensure that each caregiver is a good match.
We put tremendous effort into hiring caregivers with strong interpersonal skills, and we are good at matching clients with compatible caregivers. It is very rare for someone to dislike the caregiver we provide. If it happens, then we will make a change and provide a different caregiver.
No. Our client agreement does not create any obligations and clients can cancel service at any time without penalty.
Yes. We do not provide senior care services on an ad hoc or on-demand basis. We work with every client to create a personalized care plan, which includes a weekly schedule and list of services to be provided. The weekly schedule enables caregivers to know when they are working and plan around their work commitments.
Yes. Clients can easily change the care plan, including the schedule and the services provided. These changes can be a one-time thing, such as to accommodate a doctor’s appointment, or a permanent change.
No. Clients may schedule a shift for any duration of time duration. However clients must pay for at least three hours of service every time a caregiver visits.
Please see our care services page for a full list of services.
Yes. This can be done very easily.
We are licensed to assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and have the clinical staff to do so. However there are limits regarding the extent to which our caregivers can assist with activities of daily living (ADLs). Please see our personal care page for more information about these limitations.
We do not accept clients whose care needs exceed our capabilities unless there is a sufficient plan to independently meet those needs. For example, we cannot provide wound care but could provide companion care to someone who needs wound care if they arranged for regular visits from a nurse to care for their wounds.
If there is any question about whether care exceeds our scope of competency then we will perform a nursing assessment in order to make a determination.
If an existing client’s care needs increase beyond our capabilities, then we will work with that client and their family to either refer them to a qualified care provider or include another care provider who can provide the necessary care.
