Seniors Helping Seniors® In-Home Services Honors Caregivers for National Caregivers Day

Seniors Helping Seniors Southwest Broward 18 Feb 2022

On February 18, the fast-growing franchise is placing a spotlight on the passionate and hard-working caregivers who have made Seniors Helping Seniors® Southwest Broward a leading in-home senior care brand.

Pembroke Pines, Florida — Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home care services, a franchise with over 100 franchise partners across more than 30 states and international markets, has grown rapidly in recent years by building a workforce of talented caregivers who create meaningful relationships with their senior care receivers. In celebration of National Caregivers Day on February 18, Seniors Helping Seniors® services is honoring those caregivers, whose tireless work has made the franchise a leading in-home care brand.

“Caregivers are at the core of what we do, and their work is essential to the health and happiness of so many people around the world,” said Seniors Helping Seniors® President Namrata Yocom-Jan.

Celebrated nationally every third Friday in February, National Caregivers Day was established in 2015 by Providers Association for Home Health & Hospice Agencies (PAHHHA).

Nearly half of all caregivers in the U.S. are over the age of 50 and are themselves vulnerable to declining health, which is why Seniors Helping Seniors® services, which prioritizes hiring active seniors as caregivers, provides a wealth of supports to ensure the mental, physical, and emotional health of its caregivers.

“Our caregivers are essential to our organization, without the wonderful individuals that we employ we wouldn’t exist,” said Diana Cabassi, owner of Seniors Helping Seniors® of Southwest Broward County, FL. “They brighten the lives of our senior clients by providing a helping hand with love and compassion.  We prioritize caring for our caregivers just like our senior receivers.”

Recently, Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home services announced a new incentive designed to ensure franchise owners have access to the most qualified and passionate caregivers, offering generous sign-on bonuses of $100–$500, depending on the location. The brand is also the first senior care franchise to incorporate a charitable donation with its caregiver sign-on bonus, offering franchise owners the option to enhance the incentive by contributing to the Alzheimer’s Association. Seniors Helping Seniors® franchise locations aim to appeal to community-oriented caregivers who align with the brand’s core values by including this donation.

“We’ve put a lot of work into ensuring that Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home care is not only the best option for our receivers but also for caregivers across the country,” said Yocom-Jan. “That’s something we are extremely proud of, but it’s not something we take for granted. We will continue to make sure anyone who has the passion and skills to be a great caregiver will find a great opportunity to grow and make an impact with Seniors Helping Seniors® services. Our caregivers truly have … a way to give and receive®.”

Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home services is an exceptional program of care and compassion that matches seniors who want to provide services with those who are looking for help. Our caregivers can assist seniors with meal preparation, light housekeeping, providing transportation to doctor’s visits, shopping, and running other errands, and so much more.
